Modeling Global Citizenship
This
program stream showcases the achievements and on-going work of
established civil society organizations. The purpose of the
program is to extend the reach and impact of role-model civil society
programs, and by making their work known to the general public, to
raise public awareness about both the need and the possibilities for
action related to global citizenship. Exhibitions can take a
variety of formats including standard photo and caption displays in
public buildings, art and musical presentations, documentary films, and
a web-based virtual exhibition.
Program components
Public exhibition of initiative
While not excluding the use of other formats in the future, the Center
has invested in a mobile exhibit infrastructure that can house up to
six panels on which images and text can be presented to tell the story
of the role model initiative we are highlighting.

profiled organization, a series of ancillary events – dialogues,
Q&As, profiled speakers will be organized in conjunction with the
touring of the exhibit to different public and community venues around
Calgary.
